Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated:

Before you publish: this is a starting draft with placeholders in brackets. Have an attorney review it and swap in your real entity name, address, and terms.

We want this to be clear before you pay anything. Here is how billing, cancellation, and refunds work at RDN Publishing.

1. What you are buying

You are buying a monthly service retainer, not a physical product. Each month covers strategy, writing, editor outreach, and reporting as described in your agreement.

Your agreement names the placement count and deliverables for the month before any charge is made.

2. Billing cycle

Retainers are billed monthly in advance on the same date each cycle. Your first charge happens on the start date listed in your agreement.

Charges appear on your statement as [YOUR STRIPE STATEMENT DESCRIPTOR].

3. How to cancel

Email hello@rdnpublishing.com with [30] days notice. We confirm every cancellation in writing within [two] business days.

Your service continues through the paid period. No further charges are made after the notice period ends.

4. Refunds

5. What is not refundable

Fees are not refunded for an editor declining a pitch, a publication changing a headline, or search results moving at a pace you hoped would be faster. Those outcomes sit outside our control and are covered in our Terms of Service.

6. Disputes

Contact us first. Nearly every billing question gets solved by email within a day or two, and we would rather fix it directly than through a chargeback.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within [five to ten] business days, depending on your bank.
